The role of Program Director is to ensure the well running and operating of the Children Home safe house program and operations. This includes to fulfil and maintain all Norms and Standards and requirements of the Government; being a support to Housemothers; leading and overseeing of the Children Home Safe House Management Team; working alongside SW in Residents Case management matters.
Overall responsibilities: Managing and overseeing of all Service Delivery and Operations at the Safe House. Oversee the Resident Care and House Operation Managers. Oversee House Mothers and provide support. Assist and support Social Worker (SW) in specific tasks. Supervise Social Work interns. Assist with recruiting of Staff and Volunteers needed for the Program. Continued efforts towards improvement in all aspects of the Program.
Requirements: Driver’s license. Highly favourable to have bachelor’s degree in Social Work/Education. Basic knowledge and experience in leadership and counselling.
Necessary skills: Flexibility, leadership skills, communication & relational skills, basic admin skills, team player.
